Cramo acquires in Stockholm
Cramo has acquired the rental operations of Lidingö Hyrcenter, the Stockholm based rental company. The deal includes all rental equipment and related merchandise, rental contracts and two employees. The estimated revenues for this year are €700,000.
Lidingö Hyrcenter is a well-established rental company which has had a strong position in the harbour area in eastern Stockholm during the past fifteen years.
The company main rental activity is tool hire for small and mid-sized customers in the construction industry. The new rental depot will operate under the Cramo brand, and the previous owner, Hans Eriksson, has been appointed as operations manager of the company.
Erik Bengtsson, managing director of Cramo Sweden, said:"Although relatively small in size, the acquisition is of strategic importance for our Stockholm operations. The area in which the depot is located is a key construction development area, as the present harbour services will be relocated and the area will be developed for residential housing and office purposes. Currently there are several planned and on-going infrastructure projects in the area which give the new depot an excellent platform for future expansion."
