Kamphuis expands
Dutch based rental company Kamphuis is expanding its fleet to include scissor lifts with an order for new Genie scissors, as well as adding more Nifty boom lifts.
Founded in 1965 the Zutphen based company has, until now concentrated on truck and track mounted boom lifts. Customer demand though has caused it to add a number of self propelled boom lifts in the past year or two, mainly Haulotte and Nifty lift.
Its first scissor lifts are two 20ft Genie GS 2030s and two 26ft GS 2632 slab electric models, which it purchased along with a 50ft Niftylift HR 17NDE articulated boom lift.
EuroSupply is not the importer for Genie in Holland, but Kamphuis said that it chose Eurosupply in order to have the company’s service department support the new machines, following its experiences with the way it has looked after the fleet of Nifty booms it operates.
