Mowing at height

Definitely a Death Wish special, sent in by a reader from New Zealand, where someone had the bright idea for hedge trimming.

Supposedly two men in Cambridge, New Zealand teamed a ride-on mower with a mobile crane to trim the top of a large hedge.

The home owner had reportedly expected a proper hedge trimmer to turn up on the weekend to cut the top of the hedge, but instead a friend arrived with his crane and a ride-on mower. So the two set off to literally mow the hedge, half as a joke and half out of necessity.

The operator survived to tell the tale but apparently sprained or broke his wrist after falling from the crane!
