50 years with BilJax

US based access equipment manufacturer BilJax has celebrated an employee’s 50th year of service with the company.

Paul Lovejoy was hired as a general labourer at BilJax’s plant in Archibold Ohio, on November 9th 1959 and has worked at the facility ever since.

He spent his first years as a member of the team in the paint department. Since then, he has held numerous positions including shipping and receiving, scaffold and aerial work platform fabrication, and participated as a team leader. His long experience is reported to have helped each department develop better practices.

A company-wide party was held in honor of his achievement with gifts from the company to show its appreciation of his dedication and service over the years. Coworkers and friends also showed their thanks with personal gifts and words of appreciation.

A personal message from BilJax owner, Haulotte, was sent by chief executive Alexandre Saubot, who thanked Lovejoy for his loyalty and continued dedication to the company.

“Fifty years working and especially fifty years with the same company is a great achievement. Mr. Lovejoy’s dedication to our company and responsibilities should set an example for each of us,” said Saubot.
