Strong first day at UK Hire show

The Executive Hire show got off to a good start today with a steady stream of visitors particularly between 10:00 and mid afternoon when there was real ‘buzz’ at the show rarely seen at a UK rental show since the better years of the old Hirex show in Wembley.

The R2 Access stand with Eazzi lift, Custom and Manitou

Most exhibitors we spoke to were delighted with the enquiry levels and several reporting solid order intake.

Access was largely represented by the low level push around products and alloy towers which virtually all of the tool and general rental companies now offer. There were plenty of new products to see which we will cover over the next few days.

The Power Tower Nano SP with 2.5 metre platfrom height

They include: A self propelled version of Power Towers Nano, a totally new range of Pop-Up push around scissor lifts, the latest range of push around scissors from Youngman and Eazzi lift, A new stair tower product from Lyte, A manually operated scissor lift and step platform from Russon Access, a push around lift range from Eurotower, its first entry into the powered access market and the prototype of the latest new self propelled product from Custom Hybrid the 2.4 metre platform height HB-S830 which will be lauinched next week in Orlando.
