Telehandler fatality in Ireland
A man said to be in his 70’s died yesterday after reportedly falling from a “safety cage” fitted to a telescopic handler at Walter Campbell's joinery yard in Ballinamallard, County Fermanagh.
So far we have not managed to discover how he fell or what type of platform it was, the man suffered serious head injuries from the fall and died later in hospital.
Local police said they will prepare a report for the Coroner and that the Health and Safety Executive has been informed.
