This is my final response as I a growing tired of this tit for tat personal attack, as I am sure the readers are also. The company owed money to the directors, as they had paid all the creditors, therefore as mentioned in my first post, the directors were creditors, they decided to liquidate a company that could not pay them. As I am sure you are aware it is illegal to continue trade a insolvent company (although some people do). WLS National Crane Hire began trading some 10 months prior to Wytkin Lifting Services ceasing trading and no purchase of debts or inter trading occurred at the point of liquidation. Unlike most that liquidate a company changing name numerous times and transferring assets on the quiet, we shall not be placed among the "Lee Rowe's" of this world as we have not liquidated a company owing anyone anything other than the directors and in my humble opinion this is admirable and some could learn from this.
Once again here is my number (077741438) you can call if you want more information or indeed to give me the details of these elusive unhappy clients. I am proud to be a hard working and honest "Wytkin" and can honestly say we have and continue to have a good reputation.
Signing off as this is my last comment Tammy England (Wytkin

Whats your background then Paul Jones if you feel you have the right to try and slur other companys?? Clearly a vendetta of some kind, personal me think.
One more point is if a board decision was made to have the name WLS for as you quote an easier transition when there is no Wytkin at the helm would it not have just been easier to do a name change ??
Why would you go through all the costs of a Liquidation just to change a name.
Maybe Ainscough should have changed their name to ACH because their are no Ainscoughs there oh no wait they kept the name because of their reputation.
Obviously you did not
Mrs England it is you that is having a rant not myself I was simply quoting facts. If as you say you were able to be granted a section 216 as trusted directors then why would you feel the need to drop the name Wytkin ?
I regards to grammar I have always found that the unintelligent one resorts to the use if swear words to try and get their point across.

In reply to your last rant Mr Jones? it does seem as though you do have the bit between your teeth over this don't you?
Is it that you have a previous problem with Companies using initials for their names?
In my final response to you, because I am rather busy running a Company and do have rather more important things to be spending my time doing, I would firstly like to point out that you are wrong to say that the name cannot be used again, a Section 216, when granted to honest, trustworthy Directors is easily obtained - perhaps you have not had this opportunity, as we have?
Secondly, as a family run business that will hopefully be passed down through the generations a Board decision was made to make the transition easier when the stage is reached when there won't actually be a 'Wytkin' at the helm.
Thirdly, and I trust this will finally put an end to your obvious problem - I am not, never have been and possibly never will be a Director of this Company. It would seem your 'reading' has not been as informative as you believe.
In conclusion it is always a welcome experience to have open and frank discussion but the correct grammar used is a must in these matters, grammar being the difference between knowing you're shit and knowing your shit :)
I hope this closes this conversation but if you or anyone else wishes to contact me directly, I am happy for you to do so on 07774143876. Tammy England :)
It doesn't make for good reading. Wytkin services closes in late 2008 then two companies are formed woodthorpe holdings and wytkin lifting on the same day in 2009. Wytkin lifting trades until March 2013 then changes it's registered office the woodthorpe holdings which is now called woodthorpe lifting then changes it's name to WLS national crane hire and starts trading. Wytkin lifting services then goes into voluntary liquidation if as you claim everyone is paid out of the Directors money why did you go to initials instead of the Wytkin name ? Oh wait the insolvency act states that you cannot use a company with the same name if it's the same Directors.
Mrs England (wytkin). If as you say the Directors of which I assume your one of them have paid all the creditors then why would you need to liquidate. It's common knowledge and if not all liquidators will tell you that if you have no debt then you can simply dissolve the company. The only time you liquidate is when you owe money either to trade creditors or the crown. This also looks like you ceased trading in March 2013 and transfered the business to the company which you changed name to in April 2013 otherwise why would you need to close one company down and trade with another surely you could have just changed names. It sounds to me just like all the others but you are trying to make it look otherwise. Nice try
In response to your comments "Paul Jones" I personally spoke to Mr Darwin yesterday to confirm we have liquidated Wytkin Lifting Services which has not traded since March 2013 with the directors having personally paid all creditors (unlike most liquidated firms) WLS National Crane Hire although only changed name this year has traded previously as Woodthorpe Lifting for over 2 years. I am slightly concerned you mention two clients of yours that are not happy as I am happy to confirm there are no other creditors other than the directors, If you wish to contact me on 07774143876 (24hr as common knowledge) with their details I am happy to set the record straight or our Financial director Mrs Wytkin is also happy to talk with you, unlike others we have not left employees unpaid, we have not left creditors unpaid nor have we had equipment repossessed etc, after a period of hard work we are trading un financed as WLS National Crane Hire and hope to continue to do so with the fantastic staff and loyal clients that we work hard to maintain.
Thank you for your response. I trust you will run a news story on this as I know that suppliers have lost money to this company and nothing has been done about it. I have two clients who are very unhappy with events and would love to be able to comment on such on your website.
This is a valid story as far to many crane companies just drop debt and start again with the same cranes and directors and it's just not fair

We do report on such issues, but while we do our best, we do sometimes miss one. This one included. On looking at it a little closer it appears to have been an orderly liquidation and business transfer with no external creditors. Totally different from those that leave a trail of unpaid creditors, and particularly the repeat offenders who appear to make a career of it.
Editor. Why do you never report on companies that blatantly just go into liquidation and start up again. The latest trying to get under the radar is wytkin lifting services. Changes the name of a dormant company in April then liquidates that company and starts trading with WLS national crane hire. Every time someone does this you should name and shame them
