Niftylift HR28 Hybrid for APL

UK based rental company Aerial Platforms (APL) has taken delivery of a new 86ft Niftylift HR28 4X4 Hybrid articulated boom lift.

APL, located in Greater Manchester, has ordered two HR28 4x4 Hybrids as part of a larger order placed with the manufacturer. Other models include 33ft HR12 4x4s, 50ft HR17 4x4 Hybrids and 50ft HR17 Narrow Hybrids.

APL managing director Jason Seddon said: “After years of working for the ‘big three’ we decided to set up on our own and bought a mixed bag of 24 platforms. The Niftylift machines quickly stood out due to their low overall weights, SiOPS integral secondary guarding systems and economical Hybrid power, putting them well ahead of the game."

“In the seven years since, fleet has grown significantly, but we have remained focused on delivering the benefits that the Niftylift booms offer to our customers and the company has gone from strength to strength.”

Tim Ward, UK sales manager at Niftylift, added: “Niftylift’s Hybrid platforms offer lower transportation costs, lower fuel consumption and lower emissions, while still delivering market-beating reach performance and safety.”

As an owner of a Niftylift product I am always glad to see the company gain the sales of more units in the market.
