First TH522 for Northern Ireland

Newtownards, Northern Ireland-based rental company U Hire has taken delivery of the first Wacker Neuson TH522 telehandler in province from local dealer Glendun Plant Sales.

The TH522 has a lift height of 5.5 metres and a lift capacity of 2,200kg. Weighing 4,200kg, it is 1.8 metres wide by 1.95 metres high and features Wacker Neuson's Vertical Lift System (VLS) overload protection.

The TH522 is the fourth Wacker Neuson telehandler to be purchased in recent months, with the company also taking delivery of three 1.2 tonne TH412 compact telehandlers.

U Hire’s managing director Stephen Pearson, said: “We have been experiencing high levels of utilisation of our 4 metre TH412 models and decided to move up a step with the TH522. The machine has already proved to be very much in demand. Customers are very pleased with the size, performance and capability of the machines."
