1,000th Haulotte for United

Australian rental company United Forklift and Access Solutions has taken delivery of its 1,000th Haulotte platform, a 19ft Optimum 8 electric scissor lift.

The slab electric scissor lift has a working height of 7.77 metres and a platform capacity of 230kg, with an overall width of 790mm.

United’s general manager Trent Osborne said: “The handover of this latest Haulotte machine is part of the continual process of updating our fleet with new and productive equipment that keeps us at the forefront of safety and efficiency innovations in our industry. The innovative rental specification of Haulotte equipment is part of the expanding stream of world class technologies arriving in Australia over the coming year, which will continue to reinforce Haulotte’s important role among United’s suppliers of quality machinery, built to offer a leading return on investment. The longevity in the relationship is founded upon the instilled values both companies share."

Haulotte Australia managing director Keith Clarke added: “The partnership developed when United Forklift and Access Solutions was looking to fill a gap in its fleet some years ago, and looked at the Haulotte HA120PX, a small diesel, Rough Terrain boom. At the time, United was looking for someone to partner with and Haulotte was very happy to work with them."
