Five Liebherrs for Marsh

UK crane and telehandler rental company Marsh Plant Hire has taken delivery of five Liebherr All Terrain cranes, three 40 tonne LTM 1040-2.1s and two 60 tonne LTM 1060-3.1s.

The two axle LTM 1040-2.1 features a 35 metre main boom, at which it can handle 7.4 tonnes when fully extended and 1.1 tonnes at its maximum radius of 31 metres. The three axle LTM 1060-3.1 features a five section 48 metre main boom and a 16 metre bi-fold swingaway extension, providing a maximum tip height of 67 metres and a maximum radius of 48 metres. Each of the cranes have been equipped with Liebherr’s VarioBase outrigger set-up system.

Managing director Andy Honeywell said: "We are proud to continue our longstanding relationship with Liebherr and continue to be impressed by the product specification and aftersales support they provided. We are considering further Liebherr orders for the second half of 2018."

Marsh Plant Hire has depots in Hampshire, Dorset, Somerset, Middlesex, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, with a fleet of cranes ranging from 20 to 130 tonnes, from manufacturers including Liebherr, Grove, Tadano and Terex.
