New UK sales company

Richard Martin - previously director of Skyking prior to its closure last year - has set up UK access sales company, Independent Access Sales (I A Sales).

I A Sales is currently working with Multitel UK, Ascendant and Palazzani but also offers a consultancy service to help clients find the correct platform for their requirements.

For Multitel UK, Martin will act as a facilitator to help develop the large truck mounted sector following the company’s recent announcement to expand its product range – see: Multitel UK to offer bigger machines.

Greg Moore, general sales manager for UK and Ireland, said: “Together with the long-standing market expertise of Richard Martin we will approach the customer with a comprehensive portfolio of solutions and experience. Richard will act as a facilitator, given his experience and knowledge of this specific product/market sector.”

Martin will also offer Ascendant’s newly launched 20 metre A20-15 TJ truck mounted platform. Mounted on a 3.5 tonne chassis, the A20-15 features a three section main boom and a 2.2 metre articulated jib to provide a 15 metre outreach and a maximum 230kg platform capacity. Features include a 160 degree cage rotation, multiple outrigger configurations and direct proportional controls.

Finally, Martin will offer the range of Palazzani spider lifts, many of which double up as a lightweight spider crane with lifting capacities of up to 500kg.
