Don Kenny to leave Loxam /Nationwide Platforms
Don Kenny, currently the chief executive of Loxam’s Powered Access Division (PAD) and until recently managing director of UK based Nationwide Platforms, will retire from the company at the end of the year.
In a note to employees he says that he advised Loxam group chief executive Gerrard Déprez of his intention to retire from the company earlier in the year but adds that the two have now agreed that he will depart at the end of December. By the time he retires Kenny will be 66.

He will be replaced by Paul Rankin who took over from Kenny as managing director of Nationwide Platforms earlier this month - see:
New MD for Nationwide Platforms. Rankin had previously been managing director of Rapid Access - Loxam Powered Access’ operation the Middle East - since 2014, having joined the group from Johnson Controls, where he had been regional executive director for the Gulf region for the previous decade.

In his letter Kenny adds: “Over the years I have been tasked with writing many announcements regarding colleagues departing for new horizons, but this is the most difficult, as while I am content that my decision is the right one I know it is the end of a very worthwhile and happy era of my life.”
“I leave the business safe in the knowledge that the right people are in place to carry our strategy forward and ensure our future success. Paul Rankin, Nationwide Platforms MD, will take up the challenge of leadership for the remaining PAD businesses and I can think of no better colleague to whom I would like to pass the baton. A further announcement will be forthcoming regarding the structure of the business and reporting lines for the continental PAD business units."
Don Kenny originally joined, what was then Lavendon, from contractor Carillion in 2011 as chief executive (see:
