The Oddballs Foundation, a charity focused on delivering talks regarding testicular cancer, has delivered a number of sessions at the depots of UK rental company Nationwide Platforms.
So far, Oddballs has hosted 10 sessions at the company's largest depots, ranging from Glasgow in the north to Southampton on the south coast as well as a virtual session for those unable to attend the in person events.

OddBalls general manager, Kieran Kelly said: "Our talks are a great opportunity to deliver important information to men of all ages and backgrounds, helping ensure that testicular cancer is caught early so that it can be treated more efficiently. We appreciate the chance to collaborate with a company like Nationwide Platforms, whose presence throughout the UK has allowed us to reach people in many different regions."
Nationwide's Human Resources director Karen Maguire added: "Looking after our colleagues is central to how we support wellbeing at Nationwide and raising awareness around self-care and men's health is an important part of that commitment.”
Founded in 2015, The OddBalls Foundation runs around 1,000 talks a year and has visited more than 7,500 sites over the past five years. The charity said around 2,400 men in the UK are diagnosed with testicular cancer each year. To learn more about the foundation, click here for OddBalls.

I was diagnosed with testicular cancer when I was in college in my mid twenties. Luckily it was caught early. I had two surgeries , treatment and checkups for the next five years. I graduated and went on to work in the crane and rigging industry for the next fifty plus years. This condition mainly affects young men in their twenties and thirties. If anyone suspects they have it, run don't walk to your Doctor.
I commend and applaud the efforts of Nationwide and the Oddballs Foundation.
