Husmann's new Oil & Steel Octopus 23

Chief executive Jens Husmann said: "Our goal is a fleet of modern machines, and the Octopus 23 allows us to carry out more difficult tree cutting work."

Bauscher sales manager Klaus Niemes added: "The special features of the Octopus 23 include horizontal rotation of the articulated jib by 45 degrees either side of the main boom - the only one on the market. This feature, along with water and compressed air outlets in the platform make it a very versatile machine."

Family owned Husmann is based in Struvenhütten, north Germany, and operates a property management and tree trimming service along with a horticultural rental business, and recently moved into the sales and rental of access equipment.

The feature of horizontal rotation of the jib makes this lift versatile for tree work when the operator needs a different point of access. It is so impressive.
The compact size of the base frame is also attractive. Had the photographer edited the photo before posting, the track base might have been more visible.
