New FD for Loxam Powered Access
Loxams Powered Access Division has appointed Chris Thomas as finance director. He will take up the new role at the start of the new year and replaces Tom Murray who leaves the company this month to take up a new career opportunity.
Thomas is currently finance director of the division’s UK operation Nationwide Platforms, having joined the business from Technicolour UK in February 2019. The job involves an overall focus on maintaining business performance across Loxam’s Powered Access Division.

Chris Thomas
Thomas began his career in 1997 as an auditor with Grant Thornton and was appointed corporate finance executive in 2001. In 2003 he left for accounting firm Hazlewoods to take up a role as a corporate finance senior manager. Two and a half years later he moved to the entertainment industry when he was appointed commercial controller for Technicolour UK, over the following years he held various senior accounting positions becoming UK finance director in 2015.
Thomas said: “I am honoured to accept this position. We have a great finance team, and I look forward to continue working closely with my colleagues in Nationwide Platforms and Loxam Powered Access Division.”
Loxam Powered Access Division chief executive Don Kenny, who is
set to retire at the end of the year, added: “Chris has a breadth of finance and strategic business experience that will support the growth of the company. I congratulate him on this appointment. I wish Tom all the best in his new career and thank him personally for his contribution to our business.”

If they could let Chris spend some of that profit on engineering, it could be a start. Unfortunately the quality of these machines have been rapidly going downhill. What happened with being the market leader.....
