LTS switches to Youngman

London Tower Service (LTS) of Beckton in East London, UK is converting its push around scissor lift fleet to the Youngman Boss X series.

LTS already rented out Youngman towers when it entered the powered access market in 2004, today this part of the business represents 60 percent of its revenues.

It purchased its first Youngman Boss X3 lifts when they were launched in 2009, taking six units and becoming one of the first companies to buy Youngman’s first powered platform.

The Boss X3 provides working heights of up to 4.5 metres and is targeted at internal mechanical and electrical contracting work. LTS now has 50 units in its fleet covering all three models now available - the X2, X3 and the X3

LTS director Paul Fairhall, said: “The Youngman machines are really well built and therefore robust enough to cope with the rigours of the hire industry. We are also able to safely pressure washer them without causing any electrical problems because Youngman has ensured that its products are totally waterproof.”
