Crane crushes ute

An articulated pick & carry crane tipped over onto a ute or pick up in North Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia yesterday.

The crane, a Franna owned by Universal Cranes, was working at the premises of construction company Cardno Bowler where it was carry a load when it tipped over sideways and rolled onto the bright orange truck.

The underside of the overturned crane

Workplace Health and Safety Queensland inspectors reportedly went to the scene in order to conduct an investigation. We understand that no one was injured in the accident.
