Finning confirms Irish appointment

Finning International has confirmed that it has been appointed as the Caterpillar dealer for the Republic of Ireland. In addition,

Finning has reached agreement on the acquisition of certain assets from the receiver of McCormick-McNaughton and from Caterpillar for approximately €2.7 million.

The announcement follows Finning's appointment as the Caterpillar dealer for Northern Ireland last week. The company says that the deal will allow it to leverage existing service capabilities and infrastructure from its U.K. operations.
