AFI adds big JLG booms

UK based access rental specialist AFI-Uplift has purchased 18 large JLG boom lifts to expand its top end range.

The latest investment includes six 80ft/24m 800 AJs, six 86ft/26m 860 SJs, three 125ft/38m 1250 AJPs and three 135ft/ 41m 1350 SJPs – the largest models in the AFI fleet.

The JLG Ultra boom models feature four-wheel drive, four wheel steer, oscillating axles and versatile articulated jibs.

The latest investment follows AFI’s recent purchase of three Holland Lift Megastar and six Combistar heavy duty scissor lifts.
The new machines will join the AFI fleet of over 4,300 machines operating from a network of 18 locations.
