Access Systems takes first Multitel spider

Glasgow, Scotland-based Access Systems has this week taken delivery of the UK’s first Multitel SMX 225 spider supplied by Multitel's UK dealer Access Industries.

The Multitel SMX225 was launched at Bauma earlier this year. The 10 metre outreach SMX 225 weighs 2,500kg allowing it to be towed by a conventional 4x4 using a standard Ifor Williams or similar trailer.

Glasgow-based Access Systems has taken delivery of the UK’s first Multitel SMX 225 spider.

Other features include 90 degree each way cage rotation, a Kubota three cylinder, water cooled diesel engine and a 240v electric motor for indoor use.

Access Industries says it will be making further deliveries of the SMX 225 in the UK before the end of the year to tree surgeons, rental companies and other end users.
