Crane parts veteran calls it a day
Harry Pearson the spare parts manager at ACM in Australia has decided to retire at the end of this year.
Pearson started his career in December 1964 when he joined the parts department of Harnischfeger at the P&H crane manufacturing facility at Campbellfield, just north of Melbourne, Victoria, which produced the lattice boom crane range from the 325TC to the 1090 TC together with the T300 and T600 telescopic truck cranes.
He remained with the business as it went from P&H to Century 2, PPM and then Terex until becoming part of Australian Crane & Machinery.

When Pearson heads off into the sunset, Neville Can who has run the parts department with him since 1990 will take over as spare parts manager.
