Intermat Middle East 2011

The first Intermat Middle East will be held in Abu Dhabi from 28th to 30th March 2011 at the ADNEC (Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Centre). The show is aimed at the construction equipment and materials markets of the Middle East and North Africa.

Organisers S E Intermat and partner Clarion Middle East say that visitors are expected from the United Arab Emirats, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Yemen and the Sultanate of Oman as well as other countries in the region such as Algeria, Egypt, Iran, Lebanon, Lybia, Morocco, Tunisia and Turkey.

Companies already registered to exhibit include Liebherr, Manitowoc, Kanoo Group, Hyundai, Doosan-Bobcat, Dieci, Gove, Locatelli, Platform Basket, Yongmao and Potain.

“We feel that given the amount of construction activity in the Middle East over the last few years, the region deserves to host an international construction equipment trade-show,” said David Semple, Manitowoc Middle East managing director. “We as Manitowoc are committed for the long-term in this part of the world and that is what we want to show by participating.”
