Ramirent acquires Danish rental Company
Finnish based Ramirent has acquired the assets of Jydsk Materiel Udlejning, an equipment rental company located in West Jutland, Denmark.
The business will contribute around €1.5 million in annual revenues to the group’s Danish subsidiary. The deal will be completed by the end of this month.
Established in 1940, Jydsk Materiel originates from a carpentry company P. Korsholm Jeppesen & Søn and specialises in the rental of aerial lifts, modules and light machinery to local craftsmen, medium-sized contractors, industry and the public.
The company operates from two outlets in Herning and Holstebro and employs eight in total, including the present owner, Peter Korsholm Jeppesen, who will remain with the company.

Erik Høi, senior vice president of Ramirent Denmark said: ”We are happy to welcome a new member into the Ramirent Group with long traditions in the rental business. The acquisition strengthens our position in the fragmented Danish market and is part of Ramirent's strategy to offer present and new customers an even greater network and wider assortment.”
The purchase should take Ramirent Denmark’s revenues up close to €45 million and its depot network to 22 locations. The company runs a wide range of self-propelled and trailer mounted lifts from suppliers such as Denka, JLG, UpRight and Omme lift.
