Power Tower extends Nano SP line

UK based Power Tower is unveiling two new Nano self-propelled aerial lifts at today’s Executive Hire Show in Coventry– the Nano SP Zero and Nano SP Plus

The Zero is a 2.5 metre platform height entry level machine with basic specification and no platform extension. Simplistically it is a self-propelled version of the original Nano push-around unit. Although the machine weighs just 440kg total weight it is still outdoor rated – ideal for multi-storey open walled sites.

The 2.5 metre platform height Nano Sp Plus offers the other extreme, with an extra-long two stage one metre platform extension which takes the extended platform to two metres by 730mm, yet the machines closed dimensions are the same as the regular Nano. The extension has a 120kg capacity and comes complete with load sensing to prevent overloading. In spite of its longer extension the unit weighs just 520kgs.

The unit will prove popular for those applications that require a small footprint and zero-turning circle manoeuvrability combined with some decent outreach over obstacles. It is also outdoor rated.

The company has also upgraded the original Power Tower, now four years old it gets a 100mm wider platform – taking it to 750mm wide x 1520mm long, a full length gate for easier entry and larger fork pockets.

We will provide more details and comment after the show which opens at 8:00 today.

A practical Note for those taking the train – Taxis in Coventry are reportedly due to strike today. If arriving by train look for Ricoh Centre cars or taxis can apparently be called from the McDonalds restaurant across the street.
