The company has purchased a fleet of 30ft platform height Nifty HR12N and 43ft HR15N articulated self-propelled booms as well as a range of Skyjack scissor lifts.
The company says that the HR12N’s and HR15N’s were both chosen for their compact dimensions and outreach, as well as the BI –Energy power pack.
Smith said: “I ran Niftylift’s with Kimberly Access and always found them to be reliable and very popular with our customers, so when we decided to set up Bella Access we knew we had to have Nifty’s in our fleet. The machine’s low overall weight also helps to keep transportation costs down and reduce fuel consumption on-site, benefiting both us and our customers.”
Smith has spent most of his working life in the access industry having started out with PTP around 30 years ago, joining David Wraith in the mid 1980's to found Nationwide Access Platforms which was bought out by David Price in a Cinven supported MBI in 1992. Price then built that business into what is Lavendon today. Smith founded Kimberly with Peter Piekarus in 1994 selling it to Ray Ledger in 2007.
