New finance director for Horizon

UK-based powered access rental company, Horizon Platforms has appointed Lindsay Tarrant as finance director.

Tarrant has over 20 years of business and accounting experience and joins
the company from RSM Tenon in Leeds where, for the last eight years, he has been a forensic accountant involved in commercial litigation, business valuation and fraud investigation. He has supported Horizon on a consultancy basis since its formation in 2008.

Horizon's joint managing director Ben Hirst said: “I am delighted that Lindsay has accepted our offer to join the business on a full-time basis. During the three years that we have worked together, he has assisted me to implement and operate clear and meaningful financial reporting procedures on a timely basis. This has been of huge benefit whilst growing the business through these challenging economic times. Now, as a full-time member of the management team, we are confident that he will provide a much greater depth of business analysis than has previously been available and will also oversee and develop the business’s internal control function to adapt as the company grows.”
