New Zoomlion to debut at Vertikal Days

Crowland Cranes will launch the new 35 tonne Zoomlion QY35v three axle truck crane at Vertikal Days this June.

The new crane is the result of more than four years work and co-operation between the Peterborough, UK based crane distributor and manufacturer to develop a classic three axle truck crane for the taxi crane market.

The 35 tonner features a 40 metre full powered main boom, plus eight metre under slung jib with five, 17 or 30 degrees of offset. Twin axial piston drive hoists are standard equipment and is a Hirschman load moment indicator.
Power comes from a western built six cylinder turbocharged Cummins engine driving an eight speed manual transmission.
Overall width is 2.5 metres, overall height 3.8 metres and overall length 13 metres. Outriggers have half and fully extended working positions and a fifth front outrigger is standard equipment.

Examples of lifting capacities include:
1,100kgs @ 28 metres radius
8,500kgs @ 10 metres radius
18,500kgs @ six metres radius

Capacity on the fully extended main boom is 6.3 tonnes, while the jib can handle up to three tonnes. Maximum tip height is 50 metres.

The new crane will be significantly less expensive than a similar sized All Terrain crane and thanks to its simpler componentry will be less expensive to maintain and run. The idea being to eke a profit from the currently low rental rates.

The new crane can be seen and tried at Vertikal Days along with a number of other new cranes from other mobile crane manufacturers, such as Tadano-Faun, Terex, Liebherr, Link Belt and Manitowoc. Dates are June 22nd and 23rd at Haydock Park.
