53 metre Bronto for Speed Works

Speed Works, a Belgian telecom installation specialist based in the Charleroi region, has taken delivery of a brand new 53 metre Bronto Skylift S53XDT truck mounted lift.

The new lift, the company’s first, is mounted on an MAN26T truck and is equipped with Bronto’s 3+ system, 300 kg hydraulic winch in the cage, hydraulically extendable cage, with both water and air lines to platform.

The machine was supplied via Bronto’s Benelux distributor Allift Michielsens, following a proposal to Speed Works’ owner Erminio Pandolfi last October. Until now the company has rented in all of its aerial work platforms, from Storm Group-F which largely runs Bronto units. Please register to see all images

Speed Works new 53 metre Bronto S53XDT

Pandolfi was persuaded that owning a 53 metre unit would allow the company to be more flexible in meeting his customers (mobile operators) demands. He is also looking to make the machine available on a rental business in the local area, where there is a shortage of larger truck mounts.
