New parts manager for APS

UK based Access Platform Sales has appointed Stuart Parker as its new replacement parts manager.

Parker previously worked for Genie Industries where he spent 10 years, latterly as parts controller. He joined Access Platform Sales in July 2010 and has been working ‘behind the scenes’ in the parts area since, helping transform and streamline the processes, reorganise the warehouse and organise increased stock holding of parts.

He has already been able to improve the efficiency, reduce the costs and build on the established level of customer service provided by the department. The company now carries a substantial quantity of stock for most major manufacturers including Genie, Niftylift, Skyjack, Hinowa, Omme, JLG and the Boss X-Series.

The expansion of the parts department follows the appointment of APS as one of Genie UK’s new super dealers for the supply of its aluminium products, stocks of which are also held for immediate dispatch.
