AGS opens in Spain

AGS the French based manufacturer of anti-collision and safety devices for tower cranes has opened its own subsidiary in Spain - AGS-BTP Ibérica.

The new company is alreay open for business and is based in Irun, northern Spain, it is managed by J. Eugenio Retuerto, the former manager of AGS distributor Teknikran, which is also based in Irun. The company says that it will continue to work with Teknikran as well as its southern/Mediterranean distributor REYM 2000, based in Teià, north of Barcelona.

Some of the 18 tower cranes working on Malaga's new prison

AGS has sold its products in Spain for many years, its most recent projects include an anti-collision system for 18 cranes working for contractor Vias y Construcciones on the new eco-friendly Archidona prison in the Malaga area.
