New GM for Manitowoc Australia
Manitowoc cranes has appointed a new general manager and sales director for Australia and New Zealand.
Kelvin Kent takes over as general manager of Australia and New Zealand crane operations, while Neil Hollingshead moves down under as sales and marketing director.
Kent will be responsible for sales, Manitowoc Crane Care and administration. He joins the company from Eagle Equipment, where he was Queensland state manager. Overall he has more than 30 years’ experience in the construction industry and has previously worked with companies such as Atlas Copco, Compair, JCB, Eagle Equipment, and former Grove crane dealer, Banbury Engineering.

Kelvin Kent
Hollingshead, currently global product director for All-Terrain and Rough-Terrain cranes, will report to Kent in his new role. He joined Manitowoc in 1989 as an apprentice technician and progressed through a number of marketing and project management roles to his current post.

Neil Hollingshead
John Stewart, senior vice president of sales and marketing for the greater Asia-Pacific region, said: “Kelvin is very dedicated to the Australia-New Zealand market, and Neil is committed to further developing the sales team in the region. Coupled with the support of the entire Manitowoc Cranes organisation, Manitowoc will only continue to add value to our customers’ experiences in the region.”
