Schlamann Autokrane is based in Marklohe, between Bremen and Hannover and operates a fleet of 15 cranes, 13 of them Liebherr, the largest being a 220 tonne LTM 1220-5.2. The family also has a concrete and limestone plant, along with a transport and heavy haulage business.
The new LTM 1130-5.1 is intended for conversion and upgrading work in the mineral oil and gas drilling sector. A particular feature of the crane is its variable boom system and compact dimensions.
The LTF 1060-4.1 is intended as an economic taxi crane Schlamann said: “Our 60-tonner will have to deal with a lot of long-distance travelling, and that means the low fuel consumption, and more economical tyres and parts subject to wear of a crane on a standard truck body, were all important factors in making the decision.“
