Global delivers first Zoomlion crawler

US based Global Crane Sales, has sold and delivered the first 260 tonne Zoomlion QUY260 crawler crane in the U.S. to Axis Crane of Portland Oregon.

The QUY260 is the first Zoomlion crawler crane to be ANSI-certified and is ideal for a variety of applications including general construction, wind turbine erection and work on oil rigs and refineries.

Zoomlion crawler cranes at Conexpo

Maximum capacity in US tons is 287 tons, while it can handle 81 tons on the luffing jib and 37.5 tons with the fixed jib. Main boom lengths vary from 20 metres to 82.5 metres, with extended-reach boom ranges from 82.5 to 94.5 metres.

The QUY260 is fitted with Linde pumps, a PAT/Hirschmann LMI system, Pfeifer wire rope, Cummins engine and Rexroth hydraulic motors.

Axis runs a diversified fleet of cranes, including All Terrains, Rough Terrains and conventional truck and crawler lattice boom units, covering the Pacific Northwest from Portland, Albany and Seattle Washington.. Global took over the Zoomlion crawler crane distribution from CIFA just before this year’s Conexpo in March.
