Man falls from lift

A man working on a large advertising hording has died after falling around 24 metres from a work platform,while working near the Dallas Cowboys stadium in Texas.

The man is said to have leant against the swing gate of the basket on the truck mounted lift he was using, when it gave way - opening outwards and causing him to fall. He was taken to Arlington Memorial Hospital in critical condition and died some time later.
