Four black Liebherr for Herkules

Polish based crane rental company Gastel Żurawie, which trades under as ‘Herkules’, has purchased four black mobile cranes with fire-red boom noses.

The four - five and six axle cranes, which were handed over at the Liebherr production facility in Ehingen a few weeks ago, include two 130 tonne LTM 1130-5.1, a 200 tonne LTM 1200-5.1, and a 250 tonne LTM 1250-6.1.

The hand over ceremony and those black cranes

Gastel Żurawie runs a fleet of 50 mobile cranes alongside a 190 unit tower crane fleet and a heavy transport and moving business. The mobile fleet includes 43 wheeled cranes and six crawlers, which operate from four locations in Poland.

When deciding on the supplier for the four new cranes Liebherr’ s four service branches in Poland were a significant factor along with its promise of delivering 90 percent of all parts from stock.

Gastel Żurawie employs 270 and is expanding into the growing wind power industry as well as the telecommunications sector. It also owns a manufacturing facility that produces prefabricated concrete components.
