Liebherr Nenzing 35th anniversary celebrations

Liebherr’s crane, maritime cargo handling and deep foundation machinery facility in Nenzing, Austria celebrated its 35th anniversary last Thursday.
Started in 1976 and covering an area of more than 250,000 sq metres, the facility has a turnover of €825 million, second only to the Ehingen mobile crane division.

About 600 visitors from all over the world attended the 35th anniversary celebrations


About 600 customers and company employees from all over the world joined with Liebherr Nenzing directors, staff and Liebherr family members in the day and evening celebrations including a tour of the new production hall 8 which now makes the booms for HD cycle crawler cranes.

Liebherr Nenzing's four main directors at the opening ceremony


Liebherr-MCCtec has four main product ranges – port equipment, ship cranes, offshore cranes, duty cycle cranes and piling and drilling rigs – and all were on display together together with innovations in energy technology and energy efficiency. Also on show were Liebherr’s crane operator assistance systems such as the Cycoptronic anti-sway system, Sycratronic a two crane control system for tandem lifts and DACS, a dynamic anti-collision system.
