Four new cranes for Wille-Krane

German based crane rental company Wille Krane has purchased four new Liebherr All Terrain cranes.

The Kiel based company has a young fleet strategy that normally sees it replacing cranes after six years in the fleet. The four new units include the 95 tonne LTM1095-5.1 which the company recently collected, are all replacements to units in its 23 crane fleet.

Karsten Schneider, managing director of Wille said: “We chose the LTM1095 for its high lifting capacity and the long telescopic boom at 58 metres, at the same time, with 15 tonnes basic ballast it is a practical taxi crane being economical and fast into action. The flexibility is also impressive with the ability to be used as a 70 or 80-tonner.”

Classic work for this size of crane in the region include: the installation of prefabricated components and the placement of balconies. The company is often involved in the renovation of old buildings in urban settings, where balconies are part of the structure.

Wille-Krane was founded in 1994 and now has a fleet that ranges from 30 and 350 tonnes, their largest being a Liebherr LTM 1350-6.1, which is mainly used for maintenance work in the wind power industry. Other brands in the fleet include Tadano-Faun, Grove Sennebogen and Unic.

In addition to the Kiel headquarters, the company has four other branches in Schleswig-Holstein and a workforce of 50 people. The company also provides heavy haulage services, with its 10 tractor units and 20 trailers.
