New premises for Harsco Infrastructure Peru
Harsco Infrastructure has opened a new, larger facility in Lima, Peru for its formwork, shoring and scaffold rental business.
The new location includes more than 10,000 square metres of space and is fully equipped to support both the construction and industrial maintenance markets with a wide selection of Harsco forming, shoring and scaffolding products, including Cuplok scaffolding and Protecto site protection equipment.
The move to larger facilities follows three years of steady revenue growth since entering the Peruvian market in 2009. Since then it has worked on some of the largest construction projects in the country including two regional hospitals in Lambayeque and Ica, the Platinum Plaza, Peru’s first “green” office building and the construction of 13 bus stations for Lima’s mass transit system.
Harsco is currently helping with the construction of the new Mall Aventura Plaza Santa Anita and the new Wong supermarket in Miraflores. I also hopes to win work on the new Real Plaza San Borja shopping mall project that kicks-off next year.
Harsco Infrastructure chief executive Ivor J. Harrington said: “The investments being made by emerging markets in basic infrastructure expansion and modernization are an increasingly important part of Harsco’s long-term focus.”
