Vertikal upgrade

The Vertikal.net web site has moved to a brand new server today in order to cope with the growing traffic and increasing size of the database.

The brand new state-of-the-art dedicated server is located at the same Zurich facility as before, so we do not expect too many challenges - although fingers are crossed.

There have so far been a few minor bugs that have been sorted and there might still be an issue with the mobile version/apps logging into the new server.
We are looking into this and expect to have any issues sorted out during the day so if by any chance you are experiencing a problem please bear with us.

On the positive side the migration and optimisation should help the site to run faster still and allow us to continue to add to the world’s largest lifting database. We are also preparing to add a number of new features in time for the new year.
