Ramirent expands in Sweden

Finnish based international rental company Ramirent has acquired Consensus Entreprenad, which is specialises in the rental of customised accommodation modules.

The company has annual revenues of around €2.8 million with eight employees, the company was founded in 1993 and operates from one outlet in Karlskoga and is a leading company in its local market.

Peter Dahlsten senior vice president of Ramirent Sweden said: “We welcome Consensus into the Ramirent team and are pleased with the new competencies that this acquisitions brings to us as well as expanding our network further. The acquisition is in line with our strategy of strengthening our product offering for the industrial customer sector”.

Tommy Boström, managing director of Consensus added: “We were looking for a strong owner in order to further develop and improve our long-term customer relationships. In Ramirent we see the best choice for us in order to offer our customers a broader range of products as well as more availability and related services”.

Ramirent is the second largest equipment rental company in Sweden with 81 locations and revenues last year of €145 million.
