Elzinga joins SafeWorks

SafeWorks, the suspended platform specialist, has appointed Erik Elzinga to the new role of vice president engineering new product development for its Power Climber Wind, Power Climber, and Spider brands.

Based at the company’s Seattle headquarters and reporting to chief executive Scott Farrell, he joins SafeWorks after a 15 year spell with Genie/Terex, during which time he progressed from project engineer to his most recent role as senior director of engineering. Prior to joining Genie he spent nine years with E-One the fire rescue equipment manufacturers of Ocala, Florida.
