Chambers has more than 30 years’ experience in the Australian crane industry, having started as a crane operator and moved through the industry into senior management, working for a range of companies including Brambles, James Cranes, Gleasons and, most recently, Associated Rigging.
Masters joined the company around 12 months ago, with responsibility for Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and the Northern Territory. Having handed over the first two territories to Chambers he is able to add the major Queensland region to his region.

Chambers is based in Manitowoc’s Melbourne facility, while Masters has moved to Queensland where he is based at the Manitowoc office in Brisbane. Both report to Neil Hollingshead, sales and marketing director for Australia.
Hollingshead said “Over the years we have continually added new personnel and offices, and this is just the latest stage in the development of our sales network. As the population of Manitowoc cranes increases and our customer base grows, it is important we have the resources in place to provide customers with the service they expect.”
“Ben has done an excellent job in his time with us and his customers appreciate the support and expertise he provides. Andy’s wealth of experience and knowledge of the regional crane market make him a perfect fit for the role. As we look to solidify and strengthen our position in this important market, I have every confidence that Andy and Ben will continue to be great assets for our company.”
Chambers added: “I am delighted to join such an impressive organization as Manitowoc Cranes that is also growing. It’s an exciting time with many opportunities to develop. I look forward to meeting customers from Victoria and Tasmania and helping them however I can.”
