Liebherr goes direct in Argentina

Liebherr has established a mobile crane division within Liebherr Argentina, its wholly owned sales and service organisation, based in Buenos Aires.

The new division will be responsible for the sales and service of all of the company’s mobile cranes throughout Argentina and Uruguay. Enrique Garnero is responsible for sales, while Michael Bucher heads up the product support department.

The move also terminates the distribution agreement the company had with its distributor Sudamericana de Equipos.

A statement from Liebherr said: “This will further improve the sales and service organisation in Argentina, due to the fact, that Liebherr has better resources and a better network in light of synergies with the other divisions of the Liebherr Group.”
