Boehler appointment no longer interim

Linamar has confirmed Brad Boehler’s appointment as president of its Skyjack aerial lift and telehandler business, after almost seven months as interim president following the departure of Ken Myers last year.

Brad Boehler

Boehler says that he wants to grow the Skyjack business from a strong North American scissor-lift company, into a global full-line aerial work platform supplier, expanding into world markets with new offerings in its telescopic and articulating-boom product lines.

“We have built a strong reputation for providing reliable products that are simple, safe and cost-effective. As we move forward with our goals, we will stay true to these strengths and principles”, he said.

Linamar president Jim Jarrell added: “We are thrilled to see Brad step into this much deserved role. He is a solid team player with great expertise in aerial work platforms, a market we plan to continue to grow our market share in.”

This is a good move and one that makes excellent sense for the company, Boehler is a highly knowledgeable, professional and well respected within the company and the industry as a whole.

He is not afraid or too arrogant to listen and has already proven to be a reliable and effective head for the company.
