New training manager for Certex UK

Lifting and safety equipment supplier Certex UK has appointed Mark Hoggard as its new training manager. He fills the role left by the sudden death of Adrian Kirkham in October last year, aged 40.

Hoggard is a training specialist, who for many years has run a freelance consultancy delivering accredited training courses in lifting and crane operations, as well as health and safety, working in locations as far afield as Uganda and Qatar. He entered the industry in 2004 after leaving the Armed Forces, first as a crane operator, later becoming a qualified trainer and tester with Ainscough Training Services.

He will add several new courses to Certex’s training portfolio including: Mobile Crane Training and Testing, Slinger Signaller Training and Testing, Forklift Truck Training and Testing and Appointed Person Training and Testing.
