No one was injured in the incident and the state Department of Labor and Industries was notified and investigated, looking specifically at job planning and procedures. The lattice crane is owned by Ness Crane, which promptly removed it from the site in order to conduct a full test and recertification.
The demolition is part of a $250 million modernisation and expansion project.
