Safe Contractor accreditation for Horizon

UK based aerial lift rental company, Horizon Platforms has achieved Safe Contractor accreditation, signifying that it meets the Health & Safety standards established by the Safe Contractor scheme.

The company, which is a member of the Access Alliance, a UK association of independently owned regional rental companies, recently gained three other major accreditations: ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.

Dave Williams, Horizon’s customer care manager said: “We look for every opportunity to improve our company and the service offered to our customers. This latest award is further evidence of our on-going commitment to Health and Safety to developing new markets for Horizon”

Horizon operates a fleet of over 350 machines from its Yorkshire depot and says that it plans to add a further 50 units during 2012.
