New trucks for SCS

Slovakian based rental company Strojné Centrum Slovakia (SCS) has purchased two new tractor trailer transport units for its access rental fleet.

The company, which is a member of the Easi UpLifts group, has chosen Volvo tractor units due, it says, to the good local service, helped by the fact that the company has service centres virtually around the corner from two of the SCS depots.

The Volvo Faymonville combination

When it came to trailers SCS chose Faymonville and Nooteboom, mainly because they were available for delivery at the same time as the tractor units. Feedback from the drivers of both rigs is already highly positive, with the Faymonville working out particularly well for loading of small scissor lifts.

The Volvo Nooteboom rig with an excellent load on board

Managing partner Glenn Pearson said: “The trucks are being used for our daily deliveries and collections, at our Kosice and Bratislava depots and also for inter depot transfers to and from our Kecskemet and Gyor depots in Hungary.”
