Cargotec appoints VP Terminal projects

Cargotec has appointed Frank Kho as senior vice president, terminal projects and offerings.

He will be responsible for the development of new solutions to help customers' business processes run better, as well as defining and integrating solutions to specific needs of greenfield and brownfield container terminal projects.

Kho has over 20 years of cargo terminal industry experience in several senior management positions at world's leading port operators, such as the Antwerp terminals of PSA and several terminals of HPH.

Unto Ahtola, Cargotec executive vice president, Terminals said: "Mr Kho has an outstanding track record in terminal management at leading ports throughout Europe and Asia and, as a result, his management skills are world class. Frank will be focusing on the development of our terminals services and solutions provision, with a view to setting new standards in the industry. We are delighted to welcome him to the team".

Cargotec has recently won significant automation orders from London Gateway and TraPac, in Los Angeles. The company has also announced the opening of its Competence Centres in Tampere, Finland, and Singapore, where Kho will be based.
